Role:  Hadoop Architect  

Location: Jersey City NJ  

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months contract 

Client :  TCS

Rate : $ 59/hr on c2c

Job Description :

Architect, design and develop Hadoop big data solutions by working closely with the business and technology teams.

Rapidly prototype and demonstrate the value of big data technologies through actively researching approaches and solutions that could solve business requirements.

Work in an agile scrum environment and be willing to keep up with fast paced solution development.

 

Mandatory Technical Skills:

Hands on architecture, design and programming experience in various Hadoop technologies including but not limited to HDFS, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, HCat, Map-Reduce. Hands on architecture, design and programming experience with Java and Java based technologies employed in the context of Hadoop.

 Preferred Technical Skills:

Experience with using Storm, Tez, Flume and Hadoop security. Experience with using Hortonworks HDP 2.0 and above distribution. Experience integrating with one or multiple big data technologies like Qlikview, Netezza, SAS, Composite, Cognos etc.

Experience working on Agile Scrum projects.

 

Number of years of Hadoop Experience:

2-3 years of continuous demonstrable experience in architecting, designing and developing Hadoop based big data solutions
