Job Description:

 

 

• Develop an understanding of the legacy data what it is, what are the SSIS Sources can be used to extract legacy data, what is the destination, where it comes from, where it is going and what SSIS Transformations are being done to it before loading into SQL Server 2012.

 

• Develop an understanding of the old system (DB2 System) and how all the pieces work together after Integration in SQL Server 2012 Database.

 

• Review data models for data warehousing and Need to design the SSIS Packages using SQL Server 2012 Data tools (SSIS).

 

• Need to create ETL pipelines that are highly optimized, datasets; need to create SSIS packages using new features available in 2012 data tools and working knowledge of dynamic SQL Performance in expressions and in control flow tasks.

 

• Need to develop Parameterized, Sub Report, Pie Chart, Bar charts, Gauge report, Drill Down, Drill Through, and Linked Report using SSRS Data tool.

 

 

Skills / Experience:

 

• Expert in Data Conversion, Data Fix, Data Mapping, Data reconciliation using SSIS control flow, data flow tasks and Script Task.

 

• Working knowledge of SQL Server 2012 in writing stored procedures, functions, Views, complex SQL queries etc.

 

• Experience with InfoSphere CDC, Data De-Duplication and Data Cleansing using SQL server integration services.

 

• Gain in-depth knowledge of reports using SSRS, Project and package deployment, Integration service catalog.

 

• Practical experience in building web and windows applications in .Net framework.

 

• Experience in creating ETL transformations and SSIS Control flow using BIDS designer and provided proper Logging, Configuration, Package level error handling and Data Level error handling.
