Job Description:
Position: SQL BI
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Weston, MA
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to create BI solutions that add value to the growth of the commercial organization
2. Support the data warehouse architect in data integration architecting scalable business intelligence solutions
3. Design and develop multi-dimensional data models/cubes that enable analytic driven reporting
4. Manipulate and query data stored in multiple relational databases through SQL queries and procedures
5. Develop new capabilities and architectures to enable information delivery
Perform detail data analysis and help aid decision making by combining it with business knowledge
6. Identify and extract essential information to support investigations, analyze the data, and synthesize the information into easily understood reports/ findings/ recommendations
7. Conduct detailed analysis of databases and systems to identify real or potential data quality issues including accuracy, completeness, relevance, and timeliness
8. Proactively identify, present findings, and follow through to completion process improvements that improve data quality, drive efficiency, mitigate risk, or provide new value to the organization
9. Document detail requirements for various business integration and analytic needs
Qualifications:
10. Strong data analysis skills, knowledge of Pharma data (covering the Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Managed Markets, Patient Services functions) and metrics preferred
11. Ability to understand how to effectively and efficiently answer critical business questions
12. Ability to make new insights by navigating through vast amount of data generated from multiple sources
13. Proven record of collaboratively working across functional boundaries, with excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
14. Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL processes and related software skills
15. Knowledge of databases, warehouses, business intelligence systems
16. Works independently and cooperatively with business and IT Work Experience
17. 6+ years of experience in Commercial life sciences analytics
18. 6+ years of experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (Business Objects, RoamBI, Qlikview)
19. Experience in complex data integration projects (with CRM platforms such as Service Cloud, Veeva, Siebel)
