Position – Core Java Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ (There is an inperson interview and hence we are ONLY looking at local candidates)

Job Description:
- Must Have Skills:
o 5+ years' experience in developing Core Java and database applications
o Strong skills in Core Java, Multi-threading, JDBC, hibernate, Design Patterns & solid skills in XML is MUST
o Strong working knowledge of RDBMS (Sybase / DB2) skills including transact SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning & optimization
o Shell Scripting knowledge
o Experience with ANT or Maven
o Must be willing to handle first line support calls and work on a support rota
- Desired Skills:
o Knowledge of C#, .NET is an added advantage but not mandatory
o Knowledge of financial markets would be an advantage
- Job Roles / Responsibilities:
o Successful candidate will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support of the firm's strategic Contact Management systems.
o Use Object Oriented Programming Tools in a highly collaborative environment.
o Work in global teams with team members and users in multiple regions (NJ, London, Bangalore)
o Maintain a focus on quality, attention to detail, communication and delivery to tight timescales.
