IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) Developer/Administrator

Location: San Ramon, CA

Duration: 3-6 months Contract

 

Job Functions:

In depth knowledge of IBM Content Manager OnDemand.

Knowledge of Web Architectures

• Development and support of IBM Content Manager OnDemand, FileNet (Software, Hardware, Process) in a high-availability Linux and Windows environment.

•Creation of new and maintenance of document management workflows leveraging BPM, BPF, CM, Capture, OCR, eForms and Adobe LiveCycle

• Monitoring and tuning all software to maintain web-delivery performance.

Development Background with the J2EE platform, knowledge of .NET,  FileNet and ODWEK Java APIs preferred.

Web Services, Interop w/.NET<->Java §  JSP/Servlet, MVC, Struts and/or JSF impls

o    Knowledge of JDBC with strong SQL and Stored Procedure development skill-sets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Minimum eight years of experience with IBM Content Manager OnDemand

• Experience with document management strategies and disaster recovery best practices.

• Working knowledge of IBM UDB, light administration.

• Working knowledge of IBM Tivoli, light administration.

• In-depth knowledge of APIs for application integration (especially those specific to CMOD, FileNet):

o Two years programming experience in either Java (upwards of 1.5 EE) or .NET (upwards of v3.5).

Four years experience with document management systems.

• Two years programming experience with J2EE

o The ideal candidate will be versed in both platforms.

• Proven track record for implementing changes to the ECM and ensuring proper change management processes are adhered to and documented.

• Demonstrated experience performing operational procedures and maintaining records, developing and testing production utilities and capacity analysis.

Sr. Front End Engineer

We are looking for a passionate engineer who wants to shape the next generation of video consumption applications on the Web. We're a casual shop that values passion, community involvement and code that stands out. If you are interested, we'd love to hear from you.

You will be working in a small team of multi-disciplined engineers on creating the next generation video consumption platforms. We expect you to be up to date on the happenings in the web community, passionate about what you do and connected to the open source community. You will participate in overall system design, come up with web-tailored solutions that emphasize re-use and good design patterns.

 

Ideal Candidate Should be:

  • Very passionate about coding (If you have a Github profile, that's awesome! Would love to check it out! Otherwise we will ask you to code before or during the interview).
  • Very passionate about OO design and aware of the different layers that exist in a system (we will ask you to design a system during the interview).
  • Capable of leveraging basic Data structures and algorithms to solve problems (i.e. Knows basic CS fundamentals, nothing crazy, just enough to make good decisions).

  • A master of:
    • JavaScript (coffeescript, typescript, es6)
    • HTML
    • CSS (LESS/SASS/Stylus)
  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge in the following things (that one usually uses when creating large scale apps):
    • Object oriented JavaScript
      CSS methodologies
    • Responsive design and SPA development
    • Security and performance of web applications
    • Cross browser development
    • Front end MVC frameworks such as AngularJS or React
    • Unit testing using Karma and Jasmine, or equivalent
