Position: Sitecore Web Developer

Location: Omaha, NE

Duration: 6+ month/ Contract to Hire

Summary:

We are looking for a Sitecore Web Developer who has experience with maintaining and hosting enterprise level sites. The right candidate for this position has a passion for technology and is constantly learning how to better themselves and their team. A strong understanding of and experience with relational data modeling (SQL Server), and web application architecture using ASP.NET and C#, JavaScript, and IIS will be required. This person will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and Strategy in the Marketing department.

 

What you'll do:

• Heavily interact with marketing team members and advise them in their efforts to build or improve high traffic public facing websites.

• Work with other Marketing team members and company stakeholders to decentralize and streamline content management flow.

• Provide architectural consulting for the development of high-volume web applications using Sitecore 7.2

• Evaluate and report on effectiveness of web changes and new content/functionality through the monitoring web stats, feedback received and usability studies.

• Coordinate development and launch of mobile optimized web sites and mobile apps, working with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Manage outside vendor relationships as they relate to web development and maintenance of web content or functionality.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Tech Leads and others to maintain positive relationships, efficiency, and collaboration

• Serve as the liaison between IT and marketing to maintain hosting and domain needs

 

To be considered you must have:

• Three (3) years or more web programming experience with C#, ASP.NET, JQuery, MVC and CSS.

• Experience developing CMS preferably using Sitecore and Sitecore API.

 

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

• Sitecore 8 experience is a plus.

• Sitecore MVC experience is a plus.

• Sitecore database (xDB) experience is a plus.

• Experience with AngularJS, WCF Services, is a bonus.

• Experience working within a structured (agile methodology preferred) development lifecycle methodology

• Experience with website analytics implementation (e.g. Google analytics)
