1) Sr Citrix Virtualization Engineer (2 roles)

Description:
  • The client is a large healthcare company who recently completed a merger. They are now consolidating operations of 5 main facilities and 70 outlaying offices. They recently replaced their Citrix 6.5 environment with Citrix 7.6 Enterprise. They are currently in the testing phase of the Citrix farm. Additionally there is as a parallel work stream migrating over 800 3rd party applications that is being handled by internal client staff. The test environment will finish stress and UAT testing in June with a go live of the new system scheduled for October.
  • These 2 roles are for hands on engineers who have strong architectural experience. The engineers will need to implement, from server to production various solutions to meet the client needs. These are pure technical roles, working with the system architects/designers, the client's internal technical team, Citrix Support and EPIC software experts. The primary function of the Citrix Environment will be the hosting and deployment of the consolidated EPIC software applications that are being migrated from various legacy applications.
Role Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure installation, administration, configuration and support.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Citrix environments. Experience with Citrix architecture, installation, configuration and best practices.
Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation relative to virtualization in the following areas:
XenApp 7.X,
XenDesktop 7.X
Netscaler Gateway

Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, design, and implementation in:
Microsoft Server 2008R2and Windows 2012
Microsoft Active Directory 2000, 2003, 2008R2
  • Microsoft Active Directory Group Policies and Organizational Units, large environments of 10,000 users
  • Proven success in enterprise virtualization global architectures having multiple Active Directory Domains, XenApp Farms, XenDesktop Farms, PVS Farms, multiple zones, Citrix Policies;
  • Extensive application debugging experiencing utilizing Citrix tools, Microsoft System Internals Tools, Wireshark or other packet capturing tools, and PVS logging.
  • Advanced knowledge regarding local High-Availability relative to servers, power, networking, and remote management capabilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of IT Management practices and ITIL.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of enterprise IT architecture and management solutions, including virtualization hypervisors and desktop virtualization brokers,
  • Advanced analytical/problem solving ability, critical decision making, intuitive, un-yielding focus as workload rises focus increases, multi-task becomes second nature often playing mediator or calming the storm by focusing everyone on a common goal required, mediator on calls if necessary, creative, independent thinking skills

  • This role is for an engineer to provide 3rd level support of the new Citrix farm. The support engineer will, utilizing a ticketing system, work with the project team and the business team supporting the Citrix environment as they go through beta testing. This role will require a sr. person who will be handling all escalated tickets. They will need to work with internal and external resources in solving issues using innovative techniques to find solutions to issues.  The primary function of the Citrix Environment will be the hosting and deployment of the consolidated EPIC software applications that are being migrated from various legacy applications.
Role Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure installation, administration, configuration and support.

  • In the role of Release Manager you will be responsible for implementing and managing release processes for the progression of software code in the development, test, and production environments. The Release Manager Job function works collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their development, QA testing environments. The Release Management responsibilities also include building the IT Release Calendar. The Release Manager will assist in managing projects and interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence and process execution to ensure the integrity of the release can be measured.
Primary Job Duties: 
  • Decides if/when to move to the next steps in a deployment pipeline 
  • Maintains and enforces deployment checklist 
  • Assumes responsibilities for coordinating the entire release and attends triage meetings

Overview:
The Oracle APEX {Oracle Application Express (APEX)} Solutions Developer will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and modifying programming systems including coding, testing, and debugging to support the Oracle customer's application systems. The Consultant will perform Oracle database applications development in building rich web applications and feature rich GUI Front-end applications . The will design & implement solutions to document requirements. Consultant will also communicate effectively with the client and the development team to support and conduct testing and deployment of an Oracle APEX solution.

Requirements:
  • Must have 2+ years of experience with Oracle APEX development & deployment in a Oracle PL/SQL, Java, Java script/ Jquery in Oracle 10g/11g environment inclusive of :
  • o APEX 4 and above, Web Services
  • o APEX installation and Configuration
  • Should have knowledge in data modeling, database schema and table design
  • Should have knowledge and proficiency in SQL tuning and performance optimization of PL/SQL programs
  • Experience with using Oracle client toolsets such as SQL* Plus and SQL* Loader
