Overview:
This role will entail developing for the e-commerce as well as marketing sites. We have several short and long-term projects that includes mobile web executions and integration with our current platform. We are seeking pragmatic, knowledgeable and flexible developers to help bridge current and future technologies. Strong frontend architectures and development experience is the central skill we're seeking for this role. The company is a creative and driven organization, so the ability to communicate across disciplines and find practical solutions is essential for success.
Description:
This role is responsible for executing requirements through code within the established technical framework, and contributing to the evolution of our frameworks and tool selections.
Works well as a team member
Attention to Detail is a MUST
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Complete assignments quickly and on time
A structured approach to development, which includes a focus on BDD/TDD, operational maintainability and separation of concerns
Must have a strong professional experience with:
JavaScript: nodejs, flux/redux patterns
X/HTML/5 ability to hand-code from comps
SCSS > CSS 3 npm, webpack, grunt
BDD/TDD: karma/mocha/chai
jQuery Must have knowledge of:
Java: SpringBoot + Thymeleaf
Git/Stash/Jira
Continuous Deployment concepts
Progressive web concepts using app shells and service workers
The following skills are a plus:
Native app (Android/iOS) development
Additional Skills. Worked in e-commerce or retail environment. NOT a start up person. The specs of the project are ever-changing so the person needs to be adaptable and agile.
