Senior Data Network Engineer
Duration: 6-12+ months
Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts
Keys to this Position
- 5 plus years experience in an enterprise data center as a Data Network Engineer supporting enterprise application environments with strong experience in Cisco and NxOS.
- Seeking experience in this order of Priority:
- Cisco device programming and troubleshooting including IOS, NxOS, ASA, , GLB, VPN, QoS,and Wireless.
- Advanced working knowledge of routing protocols to include OSPF and BGP
- Advanced client application troubleshooting across private WAN and MAN
- Real-time application support – voice, video and Market Data Services
- Working knowledge of 802.11 and related frequencies is a must
- Experience deploying medium to large user campus environments
- Must have an understanding with DNS - Infoblox experience is a must.
- Working knowledge of WAN optimization utilizing RiverbedSteelhead appliances
- We need this person to have core routing, switching and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- CCNP certification and Financial Services experience are a plus, not a requirement.
- This individual should be comfortable with ServiceNow IT Service Management and the ITIL framework.
