Experience Required
• Experience preferable – ETL testing in cloud environment.
• 7 years of IT experience including 5 plus years of testing in a lead role with complex, highly integrated IT solutions ETL and associated testing.
• "Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or Master's (graduate) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Self-starter capable of working independently and with extended teams at multiple levels.
• Applicant needs to be able to quickly engage and assume ownership of the job responsibilities
• Experience in testing methodologies and tools, Quality Center experience is required
• Experience with Software Lifecycle Methodologies like waterfall & Agile
• Ability to effectively work across diverse group of people, geographies, and time zones
• Be self-motivated, creative, flexible and able to exercise independent judgment in assigned duties.
• Must have demonstrated strong customer orientation, interpersonal skills, leadership, and team working skills
• Ability to advise and influence others over complex issues
• Exceptional consulting and communication skills
• Demonstrated project management and team leading skills
• Experienced in quality improvement and process improvement techniques
• Efficient at creating a collaborative, effective team across many functional groups
• Excellent communication, negotiation, teamwork, and influencing skill
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Coordinate and delivery End to End business process testing, spanning multiple applications and organizations
•Oversee test script scope control and development driving standardization across dependent teams
•Coordinate test data needs and readiness to satisfy End to End testing requirements
•Partner with IT and business teams to optimize test planning and execution, minimizing redundancy while increasing the velocity and quality of the testing process through
•Define and implement testing automation focused on providing the highest return on investment
•Coordinate a widely disperse and diverse team, capitalizing on a broad representation of technical and cultural talents. Experience working with offshore/onsite teams is desirable.
•Represent Quality Assurance requirements in all phases of the project/release lifecycle
•Infrastructure coordination to insure all platforms (strategic and legacy) are ready/operational for End to End business process testing •Establish and manage a control matrix with all key platform owners driving for alignment of overall program objectives
•Formalize and document the Integration test plan, including testing strategy, schedule, data requirements, resource requirements, functional testing scope, regression and volume testing requirements, quality metrics and risk/mitigation plans
•Drive testing execution including test and issue tracking, daily meetings, test summaries and driving the test case movement
•Work with Release Managers in synchronizing and managing testing activities as part of the overall release project
•Timely reporting of testing status, including progress, issues, owners, ETA for resolution
•Follow the HP Software Lifecycle Methodology and Testing Process Standards.
•Drive for exceptional test quality on projects while keeping test activities within schedule and scope
•Participate in knowledge sharing within and across business and IT organizations
•Ability to hold business and IT partners/participants accountable to swiftly execute testing
