We have a "PL/SQL Developer" position with our Direct client, 12+ months on contract basis.

Duration: 12+ months
Job Description
1. Development and Implementation of HL7 Message Specifications
2. Interface Development and Management using an HL7 Integration Engine
3. Daily monitoring and management of other Health Information Interfaces
4. Coding of complex database objects such as Pl/SQL Packages and Types, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, etc.
5. Analysis of existing SQL Queries which require tuning and modifications.
6. Working with hospital technology staff and other healthcare IT partners to establish standards based data interfaces.
7. Working well both independently and with a team.
8. Assisting with Project Leadership and tasks as required by the PM
Candidate must be a highly self-motivated team player; able to excel in a fast paced multi-tasking environment with:.
*A Minimum of 1 year demonstrated work experience with Health Level 7 (HL7) and other Health Care Data Standards
*A Minimum 3 years documented experience developing in Oracle database environment versions 8i, 9i, and/or 10g.
*A Minimum of 3 years documented Oracle PL/SQL programming
*At least one year of experience:
1) developing with Oracle PL/SQL types
2) experience writing and tuning SQL Queries
3) experience with Quest Software SQL Navigator, T.O.A.D. and similar development tools
4) working with MS products including Excel and Access
5) working with XML
6) Working with Object Oriented design patterns
Highly self-motivated team player; able to excel in a fast paced multi-tasking environment .
*Oracle Database versions 8i, 9i, and 10g.
*Good understanding of XML
*Knowledge of Object Oriented design patterns
Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a
*Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or other science related data
