Position: Hadoop Developer
Location Redmond, WA
Duration: 12 months plus

 

Description:

·         Extensive Hands-on experience in developing Enterprise applications using java/j2ee technologies

·         Good Exposure to SOAP based webservices.

·         Designing and developing MapReduce, Pig and Hive programs based on existing ETL Data-warehousing and BI processes. 

·         Author, test, deploy and document Java-based MapReduce programs as well as HiveQL and Pig scripts. 

·         Work with Subversion and other software development tools. 

·         Help benchmark performance and make modifications to Hadoop programs to improve performance.

·         Completing the tasks assigned by Technical Manager with Quality and sticking to delivery timelines.
