Job Title: Front-End Java Developer
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration: 6 months possible extension

To develop and design web applications and web sites. Responsible for directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance, work on the policy ingestion, web UI and integration with third
party Geocoders.
Experience & Education
8-10 years development experience in full life-cycle development
5+ years experience as Senior or Lead Software Engineer
5+ years of Java
2+ years of Spring 2.5 and higher version, Spring MVC
2+ years of using an application server or servlet container such as TOMCAT
5+ years of SQL development
B.S. in Computer Science or related, or equivalent work experience
Additional Qualifications:
JQuery, AJAX
Comfortable and passionate about using the latest technologies, tools, and techniques
Experience with designing, creating, and consuming REST services
Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible
Must be a faster learner and multi-tasker
Nice to Have:
GIS related experience will put you ahead of the rest!
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, build or maintain web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media
Write, design, or edit web page content
Perform web site updates
Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems
Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation systems
Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
