This is Khadeer Shareef from Axius Technologies and we are in need of "Network tools support " with TCS (Tata Consultancy Services).

                                               

Job Role: Network tools support

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Job Description:

Must have exp on atleast 2-3 of the below Network Tools: 

·         CiscoSecure ACS 
·         IBM Netcool 
·         NetScout Infinistream
·         IBM Impact

Principal Responsibilities
• Under minimal supervision, monitors the availability, performance and capacity for all infrastructure tools as part of the Run the Bank global Infrastructure Tools Management Team
• Supports break/fix and patching functions for all infrastructure tools
• Conducts infrastructure tool performance analysis/trends as well as utilization tracking
• Prepares findings to the ITM engineering team
• Maintain run-books and product deployment diagrams
• Create and maintain knowledge base documents as required
• Perform daily health checks for all infrastructure tools
• Perform monthly ITIL metrics collection and reporting for management
• Perform daily service requests in a timely matter
• Maintain user access requests and recertification of all infrastructure tools
• Provide 24x7 rotating on-site tools support
• Provide Disaster Recovery tools support as required
• Provide support with the Global Service Desk (GSD) and Event Management (EM) team as required
• Follow DTCC's ITIL processes for incident, change and problem resolution

Experience
• Minimum of three years experience with Infrastructure Tools Management in a production environment
• Experience  working with  multiple infrastructure tools from the categories listed in the a tools appendix section below
• Other enterprise management and monitoring tools experience a plus

Knowledge and Skills Required
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and people skills
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite including Excel, Word, Visio and Outlook
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and  Linux operating systems
• Working knowledge of how monitoring tools and platforms operate in TCP/IP networks
• Ability to maintain Unix shell and/or Perl scripts
• Professional certifications in various monitoring tools are a plus

Education, Training and/or Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least three or more years experience, or the equivalent in education and work experience

·         Riverbed OPNET NetOne
·         Riverbed Cascade
·         CA NetQoS 
·         Gigamon
·         Prism
·         Splunk
