Role: PHP Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 3 month contract

DUTIES:
Application development including custom plugin, new feature development;
Setup of WordPress options, plugin installation and configuration
Development within a multiple server configuration including development, staging and production servers
Actively participating in sprint planning and estimation sessions
Focusing on the continual improvement of tests to significantly increase quality code coverage;
Writing accurate technical documentation for systems designed;
Innovating new ways to solve complex problems that touch multiple systems;

SKILLS:
Expert knowledge of WordPress (Plugin / API);
Experience with video distribution platform;
Queuing optimization algorithm experience;
Experience with REST APIs and external services;
Experience in building systems in PHP or similar multi-paradigm programming languages;
Experience with relational database and distributed queuing systems;
Strong PHP development skills;
Good working experience in MySQL including the use of efficient SQL commands;
Experience withmodern source control (Git);
Experience in working in Agile development teams;
Strong organizational skills, structured thinking and development methodology;
Great interpersonal and team communication skills;
Strong bias toward action and moving quickly and iteratively;
