Job Description:
Experis is looking for a VB Developer for a contract position with one of our leading clients in Reston/McLean, VA – candidate must have experience with VB and strong Windows experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-5+ yrs VB4/5/6 N-tier client server development and hands-on deployment experience
-5+ yrs VB4/5/6 upgrade/integration with Windows Server 2003/2008/2012
-3+ yrs COTS install, configure, and integrate on Windows 2003/2008/2012
-3+ yrs MS Office Automation and VBA
-3+ yrs MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 experience
-3+ yrs hands-on experience with ClearCase (or similar version control system)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
-3+ yrs VB.Net 2005 or higher a plus
-Citrix experience, depending on our applications
-Experience with Tomcat, Remedy a plus
-Basic Java and Unix knowledge a plus
