Job Description:

Experis is looking for a Senior .NET/SharePoint Developer for a contract position with one of our leading clients in Bethesda, MD
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Bachelors Degree

-10 years of development experience to include 5+ years of experience as a .NET Architect in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications

-2+ years of experience architecting SharePoint Solutions (SharePoint Server 2010/2013, Content Management, Search, Metadata, Web Part Development, Client API, and Business Connectivity Services) in a variety of business environments.
-10+ years experience with Visual Studio, .NET, C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET.
-5+ years of software design, development, and architecture.
-2+ years experience of mobile web development.
-Responsive UI development for mobile
-IIS configuration experience
-Team Foundation Server experience
-TSQL / SQL Server experience
-Must possess an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010. Experience with SharePoint Server 2013 and/or Office 365 is a definite plus.
-Knowledge must include architectural design, web part development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations.
-In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence.
-SharePoint experience must include SharePoint workflows, effective use of managed metadata, site columns, content types, content query web part, search configuration, navigation customization, and branding customization.
-Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSLT, JavaScript, jQuery) is required.
-Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization) is required. Display template experience is valued.
-Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SQL Server is required.
-Experience with server installation, configuration, and performance tuning is valued.
-Experience designing and implementing cloud ready SharePoint solutions is valued.
-Business analysis and business process understanding.

-Ability to lead complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuring, programming and unit testing for information worker applications based on Microsoft technologies.
-Experience producing end-user and technical documentation.
-Ability to work independently with users and executives to expand the use of SharePoint to address business issues.
-Assist others in the organization with SharePoint knowledge at a level of understanding appropriate to their job function.
-Ability to understand SharePoints limitations and communicate these effectively.
-Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Provide Collaborative Technologies development and support to provide an optimal portfolio of state-of-the-art, high value, collaboration, communications, and content management solutions that result in improved effectiveness and efficiency of internal and external communications, and promotes innovation and productivity across the organization.
-The successful candidate will have .NET experience with collaborative technologies.

-The candidate will also have experience in the development, design, and support, of custom and out-of-the-box SharePoint solutions, as well as a full understanding of SharePoint 2010 features and functions.

-The candidate will serve as a .NET developer and/or developer of SharePoint collaboration technologies and will be responsible for all aspects of designing and developing software, including requirements analysis, application design, construction, testing, implementation and support throughout the full software development lifecycle.
-The successful candidate will participate in all software development activities such as research, design, develop and maintenance of the web-based system.

-This candidate will be responsible for performing complex development tasks involving a large SQL Server database and supporting dependent applications and maintenance efforts.

-Must be very detailed oriented with strong development and unit testing skills, and work to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data in multiple database environments.

-The candidate must have experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, XML and Team Foundation Server (TFS) as well as IIS Server.
-The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment and must be very proactive in analyzing and solving production issues.

-This person will provide guidance to less experienced developer personnel, and will interact frequently with customers, subordinates and functional peer groups at various management levels.

-The candidate must be an articulate communicator with an ability to communicate technical results to the team.
