Duration: 12+ Months
Job Description:
At least 7 years of experience in the field of Information Technology
with proven involvement in operations requiring for stringent uptime service
levels. Experience and/or knowledge in the following areas:
· Network Management and Security paradigms.
· Intimacy with UNIX, Windows and Linux operating systems.
· Intimacy with DB concepts and operations (MSQL, Oracle).
· Problem analysis, systems analysis and user support.
· Some exposure to Disaster/Recovery and system backup disciplines.
· Knowledge or Practical experience with security tools (compliance monitoring,
Scan Tools, IDS/IPS Systems, firewalls, etc.)
· Team player with strong technical and user support skills. Demonstrated
ability to work under pressure, in a demand driven environment; Initiative,
resourcefulness, flexibility in dealing with issues. Ability to prioritize
workload and balance conflicting demands.
· Determined team-work orientation as well as a balanced responsiveness to
client needs and requirements; strong practical experience.
· Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on occasion to help
mitigate crisis situations.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to present and explain
technical information to diverse types of audience (management, users, vendor,
and technical staff).
Tasks (General Description):
improve his technical skills and get more hands on experience in the areas /
software listed below:
· Work with HQ team on technical support to different teams (Systems
Administrators, Data Base Administrators, Web Administrators and others) in the
field of Information Security with an emphasis on Compliance (Symantec's
ESM/CCS) and Protection (Trend Micro Deep Security, Tripwire, Solid Core,
Hitachi PPM, Varonis).
· Be able to maintain and support Symantec CCS and Trend Micro Deep Security
infrastructures.
· Knowledge of Virtualization Security using VMWare products.
· Maintain, monitor and configure host based IPS configuration using Deep
Security on AIX, Solaris, Linux and Windows servers 2003, 2008 and 2012.
· On a needed basis, participate on test and evaluation new security products.
· Review configurations and changes for compliance with security policies and
standards.
· Monitor security advisories for new vulnerabilities and assess the impact to
the Bank's operational landscape.
· Produce and maintain appropriate documentation and charts describing hardware
setups, diagrams, operational procedures and overall inventory.
· Assists, when needed, with detecting, tracking and investigation (forensics)
of possible security breaches, advising management and the office of the CISO
of potential exposures and consequences.
· Interact with security product providers to resolve operational issues.
· Follow and comply with Bank policies, processes and procedures.
Specific Requirements:
· Proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
· Academic/professional training to at least a Bachelor's Degree or its
international equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, Management
Information, or Electrical Engineering. Strong practical experience may
substitute for lack of some academic credentials.
