Job Description:

 

lead software engineer the responsibilities of this position will require you to lead a team of software engineers for one or more Agile scrum teams. Position Description:

 

•         Be a principle contributor to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable integration service layer.

•         Provide coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to junior software engineers.

•         Collaborate on the design with other team members and product owners, both inside and outside the scrum team.

•         Estimate engineering work effort for engineering team.

•         Collaborate with others on the use of services in other systems, including UI developers to integrate services within front end designs.

•         Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, scalability and maintainability guidelines.

 

Qualifications Requirements:

•        BS Degree in Computer Science or Related field and/or equivalent work experience

•        3 years experience as a Lead Developer or leading a team of Java developers

•        6+ years Java/J2EE experience

•        3 Years experience with Spring/Hibernate Framework

•        3 years developing RESTful and/or SOAP services and/or service wrappers
