Role : BIGDATA ARCHITECT

Location: Houston, TX

Role

·         The data lead facilitates the development of a Customer intelligence strategy, design, and roadmap together with countries and the overall Enterprise Architecture community of architects

·         Collaborates with other involved organizations to formalize the short-term and long-term information strategies enhancing the technical architecture of the solution.

·         Facilitates the development of Big Data information strategy and design, with experience in the full enterprise information life cycle as a practitioner.

 

Responsibilities

·         Support sales and proposal work, including technical design and work effort estimation

·         Develop and present substantive technical data and database recommendations to senior and executive management.

·         Develop strategies for data migrations, data recovery and infinite data availability.

·         Select tools and systems in order to meet business needs.

 

Desired attributes for this position include:

• Demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence development and Big Data development
• Genuine interest in financial markets (the presence of actual experience is a strong plus)
• Experience of at least 3 end-to-end DWBI implementations
• Around 3 to 5 years of experience of customer facing roles (as Architect/Onsite client engagement manager/Client partner)
• Expertise in Solutioning and recommending Data warehouse technologies and toolset (e.g., ETL, DBMS, Data Quality, BI)
