Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Work with business requirements and will act as a business/technical analyst to identify and understand source data systems. 

2. Create and maintain standard development life cycle documentation as part of all development project tasks.

3. Used the fast Export, Multi Load utilities of Teradata.

4. Extensively wrote BTEQ scripts in Teradata

5. Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements. 

6. Performance tune new/existing programs that load data into the data warehouse and act as the technical resource for the data warehouse team. 

7. Map source system data to data warehouse models, meet with Technical Architects, Data Modelers and DBAs to review design strategies for new ETL processes. 

8. Strong technical analytical skills and an ability to provide creative solutions to problems.
7. Participate in certain aspects of business user consulting, system analysis, and general system designs.
