GLOBAL PEACE FILM FESTIVAL Announcement     FREE: Filmmaker Panel Discussions  at The Alfond Inn  in Winter Park, FL   What is Peace? Former Central Florida Urban League CEO Allie Braswell and Rudolph Cleare of the "Negro Spiritual" Scholarship Foundation lead a discussion of where we have come in the 50 years since the passage of the Civil Rights Act.   Wed. 9/17 at 4pm   Peace Pitch: Hear about their new films - still in development and production - from local filmmakers/environmental activists Bill Belleville and Bob Giguere and New York director Eric Forman.  Get a first look at their upcoming projects.  Thurs. 9/18 at 4pm   Making Films That Make A Difference.  We are delighted to welcome Co-Director of North Carolina-based Working Films to lead a discussion about building partnerships between media-makers and nonprofit organizations, educators and advocates to support community-based change.  Fri. 9/19 at 4pm   Pursuing the Passion: Travel the world from the Moors of Scotland to the deserts of Jordan and the peaks of the Himalayas with filmmaker Woodruff Laputka who will share his journeys through film and photography as he embarks on his most ambitious film.  Sat. 9/20 at 11am.   Click here for more info & (free) tickets.
