Skills and Qualifications:
The work involves test planning, requirements analysis, test script writing and review, test execution, data validation, defect management, and providing regular and ad-hoc test results reports. Additionally, the role is required to attend business requirements gathering and development sessions with various IT leads in coordination with application managers, programmers, and clients to define the test schedule and release date.
Required:
• Expert functional knowledge and experience with leading the following PeopleSoft modules (in order of importance): Payroll, HR ; GL, Benefit Administration; Time & Labor
• 5+ yrs of business process of proven functional PeopleSoft HR/Payroll testing experience including online and batch process
• Experience with Test Plan and Test Scenarios/Test Scripts/Test Cases creation and Data validation
• Experience with requirements gathering/design and related testing of highly customized PeopleSoft functionality is a major plus
• Experience in Oracle, Oracle Utilities, SQL, Linux platform
• General understanding of Linux including user, network, storage, memory, and security components
• Experience in reading, writing and comparing files using Linux commands
• All experience should include hand on activity
• Experience in Oracle/Linux platform
• Experience in PeopleSoft version 9.0 and above, People Tool 8.52+ and People Code
• Good communications skills are critical
• Familiar with Quality Center and QTP tool
