Job Role: Linux Devops EngineerJob Description
The ideal candidate should have excellent Linux and Virtualization skills.- Must Have
He/she will design and implement solutions for setting up development environments on Virtual machines using Virtual Box and Docker.
He/She will design and implement solutions for optimizing the continuous integration and deployment systems.
He/she will work closely with system, network and database administrators to configure and maintain the application stack.
Strong communication skills and teamwork are required.
Key Qualifications:
•Strong systems experience on Linux, bare-metal and virtual machines
•Strong experience in writing shell scripts.
•Hands-on experience in building continuous integration and deployment solutions
•Hands-on experience with Configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef
•Hands-on experience setting up and configuring Tomcat,Nginx, Memcached, Oracle
•Knowledge of Docker, Vagrant and setting up a private Docker repository.
•Knowledge of svn, perforce and best practices in release management
•Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios
•Experience debugging performance issues on Linux
