Senior Test Automation Engineer - QTP

Seeking a QA/Testing Analyst III to be responsible for ascertaining business needs, to analyze existing end-user-developed applications, to test new solutions, and to support development and implementation. In this role, you will be tasked with supporting rapid development and testing needs and a set of design patterns (include code and document templates) will be used. Additional work may be required to create new design patterns and templates based on new business requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Provide support to customers for technology issues and questions, facilitating communications with TX-based teams
- Quickly elicit or review business requirements and use cases and provide feedback to management and/or business analysts
- Design, develop, and document application functionality
- Implement solutions, adhering to SDLC controls and process

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of relevant experience, and expert level skills using HP Quality Center and HP QuickTest Pro test automation tools.
• Strong development skills in VBScript, and strong VBA skills in order to write VBA scripts against QTP scripts.
• Experience in designing and developing applications using Java.
• Advanced knowledge of Quality Center API and QTP Automation Object Model.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL (required)
• Experience working with Client/Server, Web, SOA/Web Services and backend technologies. (nice to have but not required)
• A four year Bachelor's degree in a related field
