One of my client is looking for Server And Storage Hardware  Engineer, let me know if you would like to move forward with the below position, so that we can have the ball rolling.

 

Role : Server And Storage Hardware  Engineer

Location: Oakland, CA

Duration:  12+ months Contract

 

Job Description:
Total 7 to 10 Years of experieice (Relevant 6 Years and above)

Strong knowledge of server hardware platforms

The ability to perform break/fix functions on all types of servers

A good working knowledge of HP - DL and BL platform servers

Resolve complex technical problems on new and existing systems including install and upgrades of Server Hardware, Software, Storage and Networking products.

Basic knowledge of HP Storage Works products (ex: HP MSA & MSL)

Basic knowledge of Microsoft and Hardware Clustering

Practical working experience with HP blade and racked servers

STORAGE KNOWLEDGE 3PAR,EVA,DELL EQUALLOGIC,TAPELIB,EXAGRID,FUSION I-O,VRANGER,BACKUPEXEC,NETBACKUP,SWITCHES:

Vendor Certifications and/or Comptia Certifications (preferred)

Excellent knowledge of server operating systems and administration (Window 2003 to 2012 required)

A good working knowledge of x86 Linux-based Operating Systems

Some hands-on experience with firmware/patching requirements and procedures

The ability to have schedule flexibility to accommodate support as needed
