Location: Branchburg, NJ
Duration: 12 months
Experience needed: 10+ years
Minimum 10 years of solid IT consulting experience in data warehousing, operational data stores and large scale implementations
Using Big Data technology and customer's business requirements design and document a comprehensive technical architecture.
Key role in Big Data Architectural related decisions such as hardware selection, data ingestion set-up, setting up data management process on Big Data, providing guidelines for data abstraction on Big Data
In depth knowledge of Big Data ecosystem guide and provide best practices in Big Data Journey
Excellent communication skills, hardworking, customer focused, leadership skills
Able to provide in depth details on what can be moved and what can't be moved to Big Data and why
Hands on technical competences:
Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Pig, MapReduce and other Hadoop eco-system components and/or NoSQL databases – Cassandra, MongoDB, CouchDB, MarkLogic, RedShift
Data warehouse, BI and ETL tool
Detailed knowledge of RDBMS data modeling and SQL
Preferred Skills:
Prefer 10+ years of solid IT consulting experience in data warehousing, operational data stores and large scale implementations
