One of my client is looking for Build and Deployment Manager, let me know if you would like to move forward with the below position, so that we can have the ball rolling.

 

Role: Build and Deployment Manager

Location: Torrance, CA

Duration: 12+ Months

                                     

Job Description:

Manage all aspects of the end to end release process

• Ensures coordination of build and test environments teams and release teams

• Ensures teams follow the organization's established policies and procedures

• Provides management reports on release progress

• Service release and deployment policy and planning Deals with release package design, build and configuration

• Deals with release package testing to predefined acceptance criteria

• Signs off the release package for implementation

• Deals with communication, preparation and training

• Installs new or upgraded hardware

• Builds the final release delivery

• Provides input to the final implementation sign off process

• Atleast 2 - 3 years of experience required in version control system.

• Hands on experience of GIT (distributed revision control) server configuration and management, shell access required.

• Hands on experience of Jenkins must. Knowledge of Other continuous integration tools are a plus.

• Knowledge of Build farm is a plus.

• Knowledge of maven and scala build tool is a plus.

• Knowledge of SCM tools like Subversion, CVS, Perforce, and ClearCase is a plus.
