Job Description
Job title: .NET Application developer
Location: Reston, VA
Duration: 6| month
Technical Skills:
• Level 3 support of Microsoft Windows client and server platforms and applications operating in these environments
• A minimum of 3-5 years direct experience with IIS and experience managing web farms in a high traffic environment
• Experience working with Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 server
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills including robust troubleshooting skills with a focus on preventative actions
• Experience with application architecture components (.net, caching, content delivery, high availability, storage, load balancing)
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• High level understanding of reporting and analysis. Ability to use reporting tools to collect data and to produce output with interpretation and findings. Examples include breaches of thresholds, service levels etc.
• Familiar with monitoring tools
• High level of awareness of the importance of Information Security and the associated policies, processes and activities.
• Experience with scripting in a Microsoft environment using VBScript or PowerShell
• Knowledge of AD and security.
• Knowledge of networking including DHCP, DNS, WINS, Firewalls, server load balancing
• Understands technology and technical concepts; Produces written materials with a consistent approach and tone

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to IT and business leaders
• Knowledge of configuration management practices and procedures
