Job Function(s):
Install and maintain Data Stage and its clients in the highly complex New York State of Health project environment.
Perform as a Batch Developer on the NYS Health Exchange and Encounters Project
Develop batch jobs, primarily with DataStage and QualityStage
Create production scripts for file manipulation and movement
Work with DBAs on the performance of the DataStage and QualityStage jobs
Other duties as deemed appropriate and assigned by Architecture Team Leader
Minimum Job Requirements:
1. Nine (9) years of intensive and progressive experience in a computer related field
2. Bachelor's Degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field of study
3. Minimum of nine (9) years experience in Data Stage
4. Minimum of three (3) years experience in Data Stage with version 8 or later
5. Minimum of three (3) years experience in Quality Stage, especially in Data Standardization and data matching, Version 8 or later
6. Minimum of five (5) years of LINUX/UNIX scripting experience
7. Minimum of five (5) years DB2 or Oracle experience
8. Minimum of five (5) years experience performance tuning Data Stage jobs
9. Minimum of five (5) years of JAVA development experience
10. Must be able to install Data Stage and its clients
11. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
12. Strong Communication skills
Preferred/Secondary Skills:
1. Experience as a Database Administrator
2. Experience in a healthcare/health insurance environment
3. Experience working in a large highly complex project environment
