Title: Lead/Sr. Java Developer

Location: San Leandro, CA

Duration: Long term contract


 

Need ID proof and Visa copy for resume process.

 

Note: Candidate need to travel to Australia frequently and expenses will be paid.

 

Primary Skills:

"Some of the technical skills required for this position are:

1. Groovy language

2. Strong in core Java

3. Struts, JSF

4. Spring

5. Hands on experience in writing Stored Procedures and Inline SQL queries in Oracle and SQL Server

6. JAX-WS / RESTFUL services

 

Secondary Skills:

 

"•         Strong interpersonal skills including collaborating, and working in teams

•         Strong analytical skills to understand the needs of the customer and manage competing demands

•         Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence

•         Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level

•         Creative approach to problem-solving

 

Job Duties:

 

"Analyze, design, code, test, and debug new software or make enhancements to existing software to develop cost-effective turnkey solutions based on SharePoint that meet or exceed the expectations of internal and external clients. 

•         Consult with internal and external customers to gather requirements, design, and test solutions.

•         Analyze system specifications and develop programming code to maintain or enhance the programs developed to meet or exceed the internal and external client needs.

•         Proficient understanding and use of Software Development Life Cycle (Agile Methodology). 

•         Able to analyze and develop program flow and logic specifications to design programs that meet the customer's requirements.

•         Perform maintenance on existing software projects.

•         Provide mentoring and training to junior Software Developers to enhance their technical and business skills. 

•         Prepare and maintain documentation of procedures and records of work performed within the reporting and documentation standards established by HGS in order to facilitate enhancement, change, or troubleshooting of the work.

•         Communicate status to organizational managers and project leaders.

•         Adhere to negotiated due dates and acceptable budgeted hours of project assignments for completion as expected by internal and external clients

• Provide technical direction to teams

• Conduct technical trainings

• Help in pre-sales when needed
