Position: QA Analyst

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Type: Contract

Rate: 40-45$/hr on C2C

Required Visa copy at the time of submission with genuine profiles

Would require in-person Interview
 
Responsible for reviewing software quality for the Consolidated Financial Reporting System (CFRS) project.  This includes working with the application development team during system integration testing and during UAT to ensure software is adequately tested and ready for production.  It also includes documenting all results in Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Analyze requirements and storyboards to determine and write appropriate test cases to ensure software quality.
Document all test cases in TFS.
Conduct system integration testing and user acceptance testing for overall software product.
Ensure software meets business requirements and works seamlessly.
Ensure software quality by testing all possible scenarios.
Report all software quality testing results using the appropriate TFS work items.
Ensure that defined processes are followed during software quality testing.
Communicate and work with customers and other personnel as necessary.
Review and understand the application team's work plan.
Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Complete assigned tasks and issues, reporting status, actions, and time spent on them via TFS.
Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the project team. Develop contingency plans as necessary.
Possess strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
Possess ability to work in a team environment
Must be self-motivated and able to execute responsibilities with little direct supervision
Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems, rather than reactive.
