Requisition Details:
• Able to co-ordinate installation, configuration of Linux Operating system with Hardware vendors.
• Sound Knowledge in Linux Operating system, services & utilities like NFS, Samba, and NTP etc.
• Able to handle most of basic to advance in User, group management, system start-up, service modification, crontab entries, ACL modifications.
• File system management using LVM.
• Knowledge of FS & OS backups using Linux inbuilt commands and backup tools
• Working Knowledge of Linux cluster.
• Working knowledge of Raid's is mandatory (RAID0, RAID1, and RAID5).
• Knowledge on UNIX shells scripting
• Good process knowledge in incident/problem/change management of ITIL processes
• Adhere to SLA response and resolution times and ensure cases are regularly updated.
• Experience on Server Performance Analysis & Capacity Management
• Knowledge on Server & backup proactive monitoring tools
• Troubleshooting and configuration experience in SAN devices connectivity to RHEL OS
• Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness with good spoken and written communication skills, team working skills
2 professional references of the Reporting Manager from latest projects highly desired.
