·         Client needs a system analyst who has experience with Virtualization machines, especially VMWare and HyperV. Somebody with capacity or performance analysis on virtual machines is best.

·         The person will be doing support for the tools like vFoglight and BMC. She will look at other tools but these people have to be able to ramp up quickly.

·         Communication and documentation are key.

·         Scripting is needed to customize the tools to work in the environment.

·         The job is to automate reporting functions in the virtual machine environment.

 

Explanation for Position:
The position will resume the work efforts of improving our current
virtualization reporting, along with aiding in the work stream project of toolsets for
Virtualization. Cleaning up inventory gaps to better align Virtual Machines to
appropriate PARs and Portfolios.
 
Details of Position:
Evaluate, implement and design reporting for Virtualization. Develop reporting at
application and portfolio level. Documenting and training support levels and
automating tasks where possible.
 
Management Skills:
Organization, oral and written communication and team player. Knowledge of
toolsets such as vFoglight, BMC COEE and familiar with virtual management and
reporting tools from main vendors such as VMware, IBM and Microsoft
