Job title: Ruby on Rails Developer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 8 months.

 

Technical Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience using Ruby on Rails to develop production web applications
• Dynamic/interactive web UI development with heavy use of AJAX and HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML
• 1+ Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone.js
• 3+ years strong Model/View/Controller implementation expertise
• 6+ years of experience with the System Development Life Cycle
• 6+ years of relational database (MySQL) experience
• BA/BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Assets :

• Healthcare industry experience
• MongoDB / NoSQL experience
• Strong software engineering skills including writing and consuming RESTful resources
• Agile software development cycle experience
• Experience working with version control systems; SVN or Git
• Enterprise performance and scalability optimization expertise
