Title: QA Test Lead

Start: May 2015

Type: Open to TPE/CTH/FTE (ANY)

Location: New Albany, OH

Client : TECH M

Note: Local residents strongly preferred            

Rate: $45 /hr

 

Overall Responsibilities :

Coordinate with IT and business teams to lead the test strategy, planning and execution as per established KPIs of the project (QA/UAT)

Coordinate with offshore QA team to triage and assign testing and defect validation

Works with remote testers to ensure 100% test coverage for the sprints

Guide team to create and execute test scenarios on pace with the overall team.  

Is a team-player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment which emphasizes establishment of self-organized teams, surrendering control to the team, and being tolerant of imperfection, while helping to drive towards the goal.

Inspires teams by demonstrating waterfall & Agile values and ensuring the value behind the practices is understood.

Facilitates, enforces and defends the sprint delivery while proactively looking ahead to identify and mitigate potential impacts to delivery.

Continually seeks and helps to implement improvements, within the team and the organization.

Communicate status & QA metrics effectively to cross functional teams and stakeholders

Use JIRA and other related tools to manage defects

 

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate

Must have 5+ years IT experience

Must have 3+ years of QA coordination experience

Must have Retail experience

OMS/RMS/Omni Channel testing experience strongly preferred
