Primary Responsibilities --
Application build and deployments following Microsoft Operating System upgrades moving from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 and Windows 2012
Develops scripts, applets and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases for primarily a Windows platform; this includes client and server install scripts, and build and release automation scripts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Technology Degree or equivalent experience in a technology discipline.
• 3 or more years experience in software configuration management, systems engineering, quality engineering, or software development.
• 2 or more years experience configuring and using one or more of the following Source Control tools: MS Team Foundation Server, CVS, Perforce, ClearCase (or equivalent).
• Experience with application builds and deployments on Windows 2012, including applications running in the Windows console, and experience migrating applications from Windows 2003 or Windows 2008.
• Experience using scripting languages to automate tasks; such as, Jenkins, ANT, Batch, Powershell, or VB.
• Experience using, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows systems; including using tools such as: VMWare, Citrix, Tivoli. Microsoft certification preferred.
• Experience with network configuration; such as: BigIP, TCP/IP, FTP, LDAP and/or Active Directory.
• Possess solid understanding of Software Engineering practices and programming using technologies such as: .Net and Java, Microsoft SQL Server, and application servers such as IIS, Tomcat, & Websphere.
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly and ability to apply that knowledge to the software configuration management effort. Ability to communicate ideas and technical information clearly in both verbal and written form.
• Experience working on a virtual team using communication tools such as Webex.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and highly focused. Operates under minimal supervision. Receives project assignments from the Lead Software Configuration Management Engineer or Manager.
