Job Title : Senior Technical Project Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for managing multiple complex health care information technology projects for Kaiser Permanente's HealthWorks and Wellness Technology Solutions (WTS) departments. HealthWorks provides employer incentives management solutions to large employer groups, and WTS builds and maintains the technology solutions underpinning HealthWorks' offering.

Responsible for the position include extracting business requirements and translating those into detailed technical designs, developing comprehensive project plans (to include project definition, schedule, budget, scope resource allocation) and coordinating all necessary resources to ensure timely and successful completion of software application and data management projects. Experience with healthcare IT projects in the wellness and disease management workspace is a plus.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with formulation of project objectives, establishing project schedules, soliciting end user input, developing procedures to monitor project processes/results and overseeing implementation.

Manages scopes of work and time lines on multiple projects simultaneously.

Manages complete solution development life cycle of all assigned projects, including analysis, design, construction and implementation.

Assists in testing, training and implementing the newly developed systems.

Interacts with a larger team(s) of personnel to more extensively collect and document project requirements and provide proactive vs. reactive project management.

Translates project requirements into detailed technical specifications for developers

Conceptualizes and prepares for process redesign and systems integration.

Performs project process and progress reviews / audits; makes recommendations for project improvements and identifies best practices methodologies.

Ensures adequate communication is maintained throughout the enterprise regarding project status and priorities.

Develops strong and cooperative relationships with key project sponsors and team members.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Understanding of web applications and data management technologies

Five (5) to ten (10) years of IT project management and/or technology product development experience

Must be able to work effectively with cross functional groups and participate in complex problem solving processes.

Must be proficient with project management tools and software like MS Project. Candidates will use some other proprietary tools.

Job description:
-Design, develop, and support of the overall Cognos Framework report model, Design and develop Business Intelligence reporting solutions (reports, cubes)
-Collaborate with Data Architect/DBA to develop/optimize the Star-schema model for the Cognos reporting tools (Power Play and ReportNet)
-Collaborate with Data Architect/DBA to maintain optimal reporting tables and views within Cognos
-Develop and maintain technical documentation.
-Extremely proficient in writing complex reports, java scripting, writing reports from a cube.

Required skills:
1) Strong experience in creating OLAP CUBES using Transformer
2) Strong experience in creating Framework models
3) Deep understanding of best practices on Security and Modeling
4) Hands on experience in creating complex drill through reports

We seek a highly seasoned, energetic and self-directed IT professional to provide expert project management supporting Membership Systems projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Closely partner with numerous constituencies to ensure appropriate level of communication, coordination and collaboration to get the work done by the prescribed deadlines. This includes national portfolio application delivery teams, regional application delivery teams, IT support groups as well as Business teams.

Job Title : Network Engineer

The Network Services Lab Technician provides direct support for the Lab environments, their health, configuration, and scheduling. In addition to the day-to-day operations of the lab, the Lab Technician must effectively work with customers to analyze test plans and cases, improve lab practices, create standards or methods for performing work, and train and mentor the junior lab staff.

The Lab Technician is required to work with a wide range of Network Engineers and Planners to achieve both short- and long-term goals for use of the labs, including its management and automation systems, all while maintaining a high degree of Customer Service and Communication throughout.

Essential Functions
· Rack, stack, and configure equipment for testing purposes
· Ensure inventory currency
· Execute scheduling activities for each or sets of equipment
· Report on usage metrics to senior management
· Plan for major lab initiatives
· Plan Network Management Systems for the lab
· Mentor and train Junior lab staff

Minimum number of years of experience preferred: 10

Top 3 - 5 Daily responsibilities:
1- schedule the assignment of test equipment
2- set up lab equipment for testing (including design and configuration of the test bed)
3- consult with projects on their testing requirements
4- implement and decommission lab equipment

Top 3 - 5 Required Skills
1- Experience with enterprise Cisco Routing and Switching Designs (CCNP level or better)
2- Experience in an environment with strict change control and test procedures
3- Fast learner able to work with "any system that needs testing" in the lab. (i.e. Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, VOIP, Genesys, Wireless LAN, Management Systems, etc.)
4- Experience with multi-tier network architecture and multi-datacenter enterprise operations.
5- Good written and verbal communication skills. Will need to capture and document customer requirements and be able to present to multiple levels of engineers and management.
