Required Qualifications
Bachelors in Information Management, Statistics, or Business.
Strong understanding of data capture, update, usage and other core business process that influence the data life cycle.
Previous experience in the role of a Data steward.
Basic Knowledge of Managed Care (Medicare MAO, MLTC, Medicaid within a health insurance environment).
Experience with informatica power center or Informatica Data Quality Applications.
Experience creating data mappings for critical data elements and maintaining meta data.
Experience identifying data and writing rules that will allow us to be able to master our data.
Demonstrated experience creating presentations using MS PowerPoint
Experience using MS Project or MS Visio to create and maintain timesheets and workflow.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college.
Experience leading project groups and independent projects within a corporate setting.
Experience communicating with cross functional employees within an organization.
Experience troubleshooting and auditing data.
Solid understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices.
Strong understanding of metadata and data management.
Familiarity with data governance best practices.
Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.
Must be able to represent the data management team as a key subject-matter expert and resources for the assigned data entity.
Strong SQL working knowledge in writing queries.
Experience using any master data management software.
Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst who responsible for querying, analyzing and summarizing large data sets.
Experience manipulating data sets within MS Excel using functions such as formulas, pivot tables,or vlookups.
Experience creating and editing documents using MS Word.
