Position: SDET Consultant
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: Contract & Contract to hire after 6 months
Job Description:
1 backend SDET: With below skills.
Networking background, Backend testing
2: Front end SDET: With below skills.
Web services testing & selenium Exp.
For both automation coders required.
* Supervise and develop complex test automation
* Recommends quality improvements to automation requirements, development, and execution and assists in the development and implementation
* Provides guidance to analysts, developers and testers in the development and implementation of test automation processes, methods and tools
* Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
* Advance and improve on automation framework design features and implements automated test suites and test cases within that framework
* Recommend quality improvements to automation requirements, development, and execution and assists in the development and implementation
* Participate in tool selection process, making suggestions, creating proof of concept models with the tools
* Participate in analysis on whether features/functions can/should be automated
* Provide supervision and guidance to other SDETs, quality assurance analysts, developers, and testers
* Accurately monitors and communicates test execution results
* Consolidate, analyze, and debug automated test results
* Create and manufacture test data needed for execution or database population
* Follow coding and design standards and provides suggestions on improvements
* Participate in the continual maintenance of code base and refactoring
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
* Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
* Technical systems knowledge. Ability to manage numerous concurrent activities and tasks under time constraints
* Ability to and instruct and educate others on developing applicable test plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts
* Team player who exhibits effective interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
* Demonstrated abilities with improving individual job skills through training, self-research and self-study
* Ability to learn new technology and business processes
* Strong proficiency in programming languages such as, SQL, C/C++, or other languages as required by business unit
* Strong ability to understand and work with application functionality and system technology (databases, OS, etc)
* Ability to influence diverse groups of individuals from technical to business teams with exceptional business savvy
* Ability to translate technical terms and discussions to nontechnical in order to ensure the topics at hand can be interpreted by all
