Project Description : To port an existing C++ windows based application to J2EE / Weblogic environment. The new application needs to be a copy of the existing functionalities. The developer will review the existing code base in C++ and develop the new application employing the J2EE related technologies currently being used at Office Depot.
The scanning application is used by the warehouse to record the movement of items from pallets to shelves and vice versa. The application uses a workflow with user defined parameters that can be configured with a web interface. The transactional data is also used for generating extensive reports.
Requirements :
A Sr J2EE Developer with 6-8 yrs experience designing and developing web based applications.
Technical Skills :
- J2EE, EJB 3.0, REST web services, Spring Framework 3/4, JSP, HTML5 - Must Have
- Oracle (Proficient), SQL Server (proficient), DB2(working knowledge) - Must Have
- Weblogic Application Server 12.x - Must Have
- Experience developing Java Stored Procedures for Mainframe(DB2) - Must Have
- Experience with SQL Scripts and Stored Procedures - Must Have
- Experience with Warehouse / Supply chain related applications - Desired
- Experience interfacing with warehouse scanners - Good to have
