Job Description

·         Client has a contract opening with a client in Wilmington DE; our client is looking for a Implementation Engineer (4-6 recent years using WILY).

·         This candidate will be part of the implementation team that is responsible for developing our most complex monitoring solutions and ensuring they are tested and delivered to production.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

·         As an Implementation Engineer, you will be part of the implementation team that is responsible for developing our most complex monitoring solutions and ensuring they are tested and delivered to production.

·         Responsible for monitoring environment using tools including Wily, Dynatrace, Splunk etc.

·         Partner with Application Development team to understand monitoring requirement and translate that into actionable steps within the monitoring tools.

·         Develop, deploy and validate monitoring solutions (configurations, dashboards, alerts) into  non production and production environments.

·         Take primary ownership and deliver end to end monitoring solutions for critical business applications.

·         Perform system monitoring, capacity, patch and performance management

·         Actively oversee troubleshooting efforts for Web, Middleware OS, network, storage, and/or applications

·         Oversee the creation and maintenance of all support and system documentation

 

Job Requirement

·         5+ years of overall professional experience in an enterprise organization with experience/knowledge in the following:

·         Broad knowledge of advanced environment monitoring and management tools, performance modeling tools, capacity analysis tools, and other advanced modeling and trending tools

·         Java Development experience - preferred

·         Demonstrated expertise managing Wily (primary), Dynatrace (secondary) & Splunk (secondary) monitoring tools in an enterprise environment

·         5+ years of experience with implementing Wily APM solution within Java and .NET based applications.

·         5+ years of experience with creation of dashboards and alerts within Wily for Java and .NET based applications.

·         Experience with creation of application support guide or runbook.

·         Experience with integration of multiple monitoring tools or data extraction from Montioring Tools is a plus.

·         Experience troubleshooting Web, Middleware OS, network, storage, and/or applications

·         Advanced writen and oral communication capabilities; ability to influence and successfully interface with executive leadership; experience presenting to senior management

·         Strategic view of a broad cross section of UNIX and Windows technologies

·         Prior experience in capacity planning, systems performance analysis and optimization

·         Advanced technical problem solving skills

·         Experience with working in an Agile team is a plus.

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
