Position : Lead/Sr. SQL BI Developer with ETL Exp.    

Location : Malvern, PA

Duration : 6+ Months

Job Description:

•              Serve as Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert for Data Integration team

•              Collaborate closely with Application and Solution Architects to develop detailed technical specifications and ETL documentation

•              Participate in scrum calls with other high-profile projects to absorb scope and requirements, and translate them into low-level design

•              Mentor team of ETL developers on bulk data movement best practices

•              Responsible for data profiling, source-to-target ETL mappings, ETL development, SQL tuning and optimization, unit testing and implementation

•              Collaborate closely with QA team to design effective QA strategies and test plans

•              Enhance and performance-tune ETL processes currently in place

•              Work with Project Managers and Release Management to frame out release plans for delivery to QA/Performance/production environments

•              Collaborate with Operations Support to provide Level 4 support and identify defects that will go into Development intake

 

Job Requirement

•              Prior experience required as a Data Integration Team lead                                   - 3+ years

•              Relational database experience, SQL Server 2008/2012 preferred                     - 10+ years

•              Stored procedures using bulk (set) operations, T-SQL preferred                        - 6+ years

•              Extensive experience required moving bulk data from source to destination - 7+ years

•              SQL Performance tuning                                                                                                       - 10+ years

•              Source code control and change management                                                           - 10+ years

•              Test data generation and unit testing methods                                                          - 10+ years

 

Nice To have:

•              BCP utility

•              .NET 3.5+
