Job Description
· Track down and eliminate bugs in current custom software while enhancing functionality.
· Suggest enhancements and best practices from experience in media.
· Document software changes and issues for future supportability.
· Ensure that all productions systems remain operational while upgrading environments.
Job Responsibilities:
· Candidate should be comfortable reverse engineering existing systems and making patches to systems in Broadcast Entertainment/Production environment without negatively impacting business processes and have:
· 2+ years experience working in media/broadcast production environments
· Knowledge of modern web languages
· Ability to function in fast-paced, quick turn-around timeline.
· .Net, C#
· HTML5, CSS, DevExpress, Bootstrap
· Javascript, PHP, Ruby, Perl, Python
· jQuery, AJAX/JSON, REST, Xcode
· SQL Server 2008/2012/Knowledge of 2014
· Sharepoint 2010/2013
· NOSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL would be helpful
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a Media Engineering field, or equivalent experience in media related application development in the entertainment industry.
