Job Title           Technical Architect / Sr. Java Web Services Developer

Location           Horsham, PA

Duration           6 Months (Long Term)

 

Primary Skills  WebSphere "SOA" and "Java"

 

 

Technical Architect / Web Services Developer.  (Highest Priority)

Assignments will include working as an individual contributor with hands on development while serving as a technical lead. This role requires excellent Java/J2EE developer skills in IBM Web Sphere application server environment.  Strong oral and written communication, relationship management and conflict resolution skills are a must. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and resourceful team-player who can comfortably work with a distributed team.  We are looking for a leader, someone who can be a trusted consultant to the client and provide oversight and guidance to other members of the team.

10+ years of professional software development experience, with all or most of the following:

•           Experience with architecture including evaluation, selection and integration for necessary technical components to create solution designs that support the defined functional and non-functional requirements across multiple domains using IBM Web Sphere AS ecosystems

•           Strong experience with SOA, web services and distributed systems at the enterprise level

•           Lead IT and business leadership team in actualizing the technology plans within their area of responsibility

•           Drive technical vision throughout program development, direction and ultimately successful implementation

•           Top candidates will be able to grasp a breadth of technologies and be able to prioritize competing priorities

•           Experience building and maintaining system integrations to document management systems

•           Experience integrating with email service providers

•           Web services, API and DLL expert

•           Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline

•           Leverage deep understanding of enterprise ecosystems with specific knowledge of the following technologies – IBM Web Sphere Application Server 6+, enterprise scale web services, Java & J2EE technology stack, XML data modeling, MDM, System Integration
