Skills Needed
60+ months configuring and troubleshooting Networking equipment. Hardware includes switches, firewalls, routers and VPN devices. Candidate should be proficient in configuration and support of Cisco routers/ switches and Juniper firewalls, including ScreenOS and JunOS platforms.
60+ months configuring and troubleshooting ITS (Intelligent Trans. Systems) communication devices. Hardware includes cameras, modems, wireless detectors, 2070 controller, message boards, etc…
60+ months hands on experience with Cisco hardware and NTCIP standards and protocols
60+ months experience providing engineering, strategic planning and guidance for ITS systems.
60+ months experience in conducting risk assessment of network environment changes, capable of making sound recommendations to improve existing processes and experienced with creating detailed documentation to reflect processes, traffic flows and network architecture.
60+ months direct working experience with design, implementation and support of WAN/LAN technologies, including Multicast, RIP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Spanning Tree, LLDP and Link Aggregation protocols.
60+ months direct working experience with design, implementation and support of emerging technologies, such as Unified Communications, VoIP, Video, and VDI.
60+ months direct working experience with design, implementation and support of enterprise wireless technologies, including 802.11 A, B, G and N.
60+ months direct working experience troubleshooting application issues using protocol analysis tools. (i.e. Infinistream, Sniffer)
60+ months experience providing technical guidance and training involving the above applications, tools and models, etc.
