Front-End Performance Engineer

Location : Down Town, San Francisco, CA

Duration : from now till end of the year

 

Description:

• Client's Capacity & Performance team is seeking a Front-End Performance Engineer to improve the front-end performance of client to achieve annual SLA targets.  

• This resource should be proficient in front-end technologies (i.e. JSP, CSS, Javascript, HTML) as they are expected to make code changes, not relying on others to do so.  

• Although several FE performance improvement opportunities have already been identified, this resource should also be capable of determining opportunities on their own using automated tools (e.g. yslow) and based upon their own code reviews, factoring in industry best practices.  

• Team collaboration will be also be a key factor, For example,

- This resource will need to coordinate and seek approval from the FE team, and plan implementations around a complex technology stack that's continually evolving.

- This resource will need to work with back-end technology experts to determine and resolve broad-scale performance opportunities as a team.
