Java Backend Developer with eBay/PayPal/Amazon/Google/yahoo  experience 

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 12+ Months

Rate: /hr c2c

Skype Hire is OK for NON-LOCALS, and IN-person for LOCAL candidates

Responsibilities:

• Participate in design, development, and implementation of technical systems

• Responsible for delivering robust, resilient solutions

• Able to work independently or as the technical lead of a small team of developers

Requirements:

• MUST have eBay/PAYPAL/Amazon/Google/yahoo or similar client experience in the past is Must. 

• 5+ years of overall development experience

• Java development

• JVM tuning and Java best practices

• SQL experience (Oracle)

• Java web services and web service frameworks like CXF

• RestFul

• Maven

• HTML/Java Script experience

• Understanding of concurrency and transactions

• Good knowledge of no SQL and Mongo DB, along with experience in JBoss

• Messaging experience – aSync and JMS

• Experience in Alerts and Notification applications

• Experience working in Agile/scrum development

• Experience in UNIX shell programming
