Oracle Datawarehouse Architect

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 10 + months

Rate: Negotiable - market rates

Phone and in-person if candidate is local or through Skype if not local

• Has to be a very experienced and technically hands-on person who has good experience with oracle data warehouse, extremely proficient in Oracle.

• Very sound understanding of data modeling: This should include experience in populating Star Schemas tables, Snowflake Schema, and highly normalized data models.

• Very good in hands-on  database activities: Should be familiar with creation of all database objects;  i.e. administration of database objects like tables, indexes, views, physical data constraints, partitioning, access privileges and general database administrative tasks.

• Highly developed knowledge of database design principles with specific application to a data warehouse development – star schema, Analytical models.

• Capability to address performance issues.

• Knowledge of developing source to target mappings, system specifications.

• Knowledge of metadata management, E-R studio, power designer.

• Agile Experience
