Position: Oracle APEX Senior/Lead Developer

Location: Bloomfield, CO

Duration: 12 Months

 

Description:

Design and implement new solutions using Oracle Application Express (exposure to version 4 required). Troubleshoot and communicate daily application issue resolution with users and make enhancements and fix bugs reported by users. Handle SDLC documentation and application deployment releases and respond to data calls, making metadata and lookup data changes. Provide production support of applications involving maintenance, changes, and enhancements. Maintain data models, including logical and physical and design, develop, and test packages, procedures, functions, views, and triggers. Work independently and communicate with stakeholders and users at their level of analytical and technical understanding. Provide data analysis using Oracle SQL (exposure to Oracle 10 or 11 required). Work as a team player and multitask with minimal supervision and high reliability.

 

Responsibilities:

• Handle SDLC documentation and application deployment releases and respond to data calls, making metadata and lookup data changes.
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Work with customers to understand business needs and deliver high quality solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and training on the Oracle Application Express tool.
• Assist in the documentation and testing of the applications.
• Define the scope of projects, understanding a customer's issues/problems, and conceiving customer deliverables.
• Apply advanced knowledge of industry trends and key issues and challenges facing a customer.
• Maintain data models, including logical and physical and design, develop, and test packages, procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Manage to completion one large or several concurrent medium-sized projects with multiple deliverables.
• Ensure project deliverables meet the customer's expectations.
• Develop project plans, monitors project status and ensures project delivery on time and within budget.
• Provide data analysis using Oracle SQL.

 

Mandatory Skills

Oracle APEX

 

Desired Skills

·         Client-side JavaScript, AJAX

·         HTML, CSS, XML

·         Proficiency in Linux operating system, shell scripting

·         Knowledge of Java/J2EE helpful

·         Experience with Crystal Reports

·         Practical knowledge of Perl

·         Practical knowledge of Shell scripting

·         Practical knowledge of Erwin or equivalent ERD modeling tool
